In RV Center, mealtimes are social interludes based around eating and enjoying food. The children eat together  in small groups and lunch is facilitated in a family style.

Points of interest in our center:

-Fresh, nutritious meals cooked onsite by our in-house cook. Our meals are Cooked daily with fresh meat, vegetables and fruits.

-Accommodating to children’s dietary restrictions and allergies

-Prepared using York Region’s Menu Planning & Supportive Nutrition Practical Guide for children

-We are a peanut free and pork free environment, we ask all staff and parents to leave these products out of the center and that they are not eaten prior to entering the center. Due to peanuts being a highly allergenic food, we have learned that even small traces of peanuts can be deadly to those who are allergic.

-Please advise us upon registration of any food restrictions/allergies your child may have, so that we can try to provide a menu to fit your child’s food intake.

-We ask for your consideration by not allowing your child to bring any food or snacks to the center as we have many children who have allergies to certain products.
